A unique collaboration of diverse rhythmic and sonic influences.

Fluttering and intricate rhythms meet melancholic minimalism and abstract moods mirror a cadence of pulses. Mesmerizing and powerful grooves blend with textured samples, electronic soundscapes and the diverse world of acoustic world percussion, from Indian Tabla to the resonant frame drums of Arabia and much more. The performers juxtapose instruments and sounds in unexpected and intricate ways, from inflections of the voice to processed audio streams and beats, alongside vibrant and dynamic visuals. Two tracks feature celebrated Fourth World trumpeter Jon Hassell, who produced the highly influential Ambient Series of releases with Brian Eno, and has frequently collaborated with Talking Heads, David Sylvian, Peter Gabriel and The Kronos Quartet. The result is a musical conversation from two of the most energetic and hyperactive artists around today. CD only available at selected live dates and exclusively at posteverything.com

"'Intense', 'Energetic' and 'Hypnotic' hardly begin to describe the Pete Lockett approach to live performance. Caught up in the creativity of the moment, his natural gift is inspiring, making his live appearance an absolute must-see." (Rhythm Magazine)

Pete Lockett has worked in virtually every field of music conceivable, both live and in the studio, from pop and rock, to free jazz and the classical avant garde, from traditional North and South Indian to Japanese taiko. He was featured soloist on the most recent Bond movies, along with several Hollywood blockbusters. His projects have taken him all over the globe, and he has worked with Björk, Peter Gabriel, Zakir Hussain, Nitin Sawhney, Bill Bruford, Texas and The Verve, amongst many others.

Innovative London based artist Scanner is at the forefront of new music. Sampled by Bjork and Aphex Twin, admired by Stockhausen, he's a frequent flyer whose works have taken him across the globe and back again. As well as producing compositions and audio CDs, his diverse body of work includes soundtracks for films, performances, radio, and site-specific intermedia installations. His live shows twist and turn, sculpting a sound that twists state-of-the-art-technology in gloriously unconventional ways. Most recently he was commissioned to compose a new National Anthem for Europe, Europa 25, reworked Bach Solo Cantatas with soprano Loraine Hunt for performance and soundtracked a morgue at the Raymond Poincare Hospital in Paris.
